But it's also worth pondering the quintessential Rovishness of his conversation with Cooper, as reported in Newsweek. Bringing up Plame, after all, did nothing to discredit Wilson's central findings. It was a distraction, an ad hominem attack....
But the Senate Intelligence Committee has done all the discrediting necessary, as noted below, concluding that Wilson publicly misrepresented his own findings, which if anything helped support claims of Iraq seeking uranium. Maybe this is why Howard Kurtz claims that Wilson got it right and the Administration wrong--he reads the Post!
