Isn't That Convenient

Cancel Petula Dvorak's 3 p.m. live chat at washingtonpost.com has been cancelled (It's the one at left marked "War: Demos/Support").

A schedule conflict? She's filed a six-graf story, Sheehan Arrested Outside White House with Daniela Deane and the AP:

"The whole world is watching," protesters chanted as Sheehan was led to a police vehicle.

Who knows what else they said, given Dvorak's track record in editing quotes; most recently she couldn't bring herself to relay Sheehan telling antiwar protesters on Saturday that "We'll be the check and balance on this out of control criminal government," though we learned she informed them that "This is amazing!" One hopes the chat is rescheduled so we can ask why she was duped by "novice" protester Patrice Cuddy and never told readers about  ANSWER's role as front group for the Stalinist Workers World Party.
