I'm not live blogging anything today, what with my photo-operatives downtown. But watching the demonstration on C-Span, they sure hustled Cindy Sheehan on and off the dias quickly enough (and in fact, most speakers are being limited to about five minutes).
Most of Sheehan's speech was generic agitprop, though she did let loose with one of those comments the Post has thus far refused to print: "We'll be the check and balance on this out of control criminal government." One at least hopes for some diligence in one's criminals, yet they have carelessly permitted a mass demonstration against their criminality.
Other luminaries appearing this afternoon include George Galloway (Greatest hits include "The Syrian people are fortunate in having Bashar al-Assad as their leader"). The roster of speakers helps explain why no Democrat interested in national leadership is within camera shot of this demo.
A brief AP dispatch about the event appears right now on washingtonpost.com's homepage.
