Post-Skipper: Miers

I read Specter to Press Miers in Hearings by Christopher Lee so you don't have to:

1. Harriet Miers has faced "one of the toughest lynch mobs ever assembled in Washington, D.C.," according to Senate Judiciary RINO Arlen Specter. I believe he is referring to the Rebel Alliance.

2. Specter will press Miers hard on whether she's promised anything to anyone on abortion or Roe v. Wade;. Sen. Leahy reports she said she hasn't. Longtime beau Nathan Hecht says pro-life Miers will separate personal views from legal merits, confusing pro-life conservative Gary Bauer: "If he wants to reassure his fellow pro-life conservatives, that's the last argument he should be making."

3. Specter will look for Miers' college transcript, because "academic standing is relevant." No word on whether he'll be checking with high school Principal Skinner to discuss Miers' "permanent record."
