Gateway Pundit continues to show that Some Guy With A Blog can give you a fuller picture of what's happening in Iran than a supposedly great American newspaper. Today, Gateway runs a long post with the headline Iranian Death Toll Climbs To 40 in Continuing Protests:

News reports from neighboring Azerbaijan claim that ethnic clashes in Iraq are gaining ground:

The wave of mass protests by ethnic Azeris in neighboring Iran shows no sign of abating following the publication of insulting cartoons in its state-owned newspaper, as the death toll in clashes with the police has reportedly climbed to 40...

I have no way of evaluating all the sources in Gateway's posts, and I turn in vain to the Washington Post. Karl Vick and Dafna Linzer continue to put their hands over their eyes in Iranian President Warms to Dialogue:

Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad on Thursday signaled Iran's readiness to renew negotiations "to resolve misunderstandings in the international arena."

"On behalf of the Iranian nation, I'm announcing that the Iranian nation will never hold negotiations about its definite rights with anybody, but we are for talks about mutual concerns," Ahmadinejad said in the city of Qazvin, to which the hard-line conservative traveled on the latest of his campaign-style trips outside Iran's capital....
