At Newsbusters, Joshua Sharf examines a Reuters file by Parisa Hafezi that runs on A20, Iranian
Exhibit Takes On The Holocaust. It's about that ludicrous Holocaust cartoon competition. Among Sharf's points:
One last corroborative detail:
Another [cartoon] showed a turtle with a U.S. emblem laying eggs carrying the Star of David.
Except that it was the British flag, not the US flag, on the turtle's shell. It's inconceivable that a reporter for a British wire service doesn't know the difference. Either they got it wrong on purpose, to emphasize the US's culpability in - whatever -, or they're completely incompetent to be a foreign correspondent....
The mind does boggle. The photo is from Sharf's own site, along with other cartoons from the show. Some of the cartoons are in the familiar tradition of disgusting anti-Semitism, including a Jew holding a blood-stained menorah. That kind of depiction is routine in the Mideast. Most Americans have no idea.
At least Reuters' Hafezi plainly writes Organizers say the exhibition of more than 200 entries from Iran's International Holocaust Cartoons Contest aims to challenge Western taboos about discussing the Holocaust, in which 6 million Jews died. Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has called the Holocaust a "myth."
UPDATE: I like the hed from KNX News Radio 1070 better, because it's true: Iran Opens Cartoon Exhibition Mocking Holocaust

Iranian Cartoon Exhibition Mocks the Holocaust.
Mobs of mad Jews burn Iranian embassies around the world. Hundreds of Jews are trampled to death during the riots.
