Howard Kurtz has a not-bad recap of L'Affaire Coulter today in The Long Fuse on Ann Coulter's Bomb, collecting a decent set of left- and right-wing reactions. If there's a flaw, it's in downplaying the swift criticism on conservative blogs. Michelle Malkin and others reacted immediately, as in that same day. The way Kurtz has constructed his piece, we start with virtually no mainstream media coverage, instant criticism from the left, and then "Conservative bloggers joined the fray." That describes the distant Pluto-like planet of a blog called PostWatch--I'm just not blogging every day at the moment--but not folks like Malkin and Ed Morrissey, both of whom Kurtz quotes even though his timeline diminishes the impact of their upstanding responses.

"Joined the fray"?
Have any mainstream conservatives come out supporting Coulter?
